Honeymoon Photos Our honeymoon was to Australia, November 2006. We spent several days at Kangaroo Island, then the Blue Mountains, and finally Sydney. The photos are posted in two groups: Cat Photos Plus pictures of the rest of the family, i.e. Baxter and Pumpkin. These were taken around early 2005. Baxter, our five-year-old tuxedo cat. We believe he's part Maine coon. He's as boisterous as they come, excellent at catching and chasing toys. We adopted Baxter from a PAWS shelter in December 2003, and after many months of uncertainty he became quite the affectionate lap-cat.
Pumpkin was the neighborhood stray, but he has always been particularly attached to our house. He's a senior kitty, and the '03-'04 winter seemed rather harsh on him, so in the fall of '04 we decided to adopt him, as an excuse to keep him warm and safe for the winter. The experiment was a great success, even though he's still a bit hesitant about most any human contact. Notice he's not quite sure what to make of the camera.
